HonGoArt – CNY Artist – On the Road Journal is a living record of the people, places, and journeys that shape Central New York’s creative spirit. It celebrates artists, craftspeople, makers, and storytellers—their work, dedication, struggles, discoveries, and passion.

But this site is also an archive, and I have to admit, for somewhat selfish reasons. It is my attempt to preserve the people and stories I encounter before they disappear into the past. At the same time, it is an open journal—a place where I can share stories, interviews, poems, thoughts, observations, photographs, and whatever else catches my attention along the way.

I’m HonGo David Robertson, a Documentary Photographer and Writer, and this is my ongoing record of the road, the people I meet, and the things I find interesting.

And I offer it to folks who are willing to subscribe and come along for the ride.
